Now that the Capri is my daily driver I decided to put in a roller cam setup and put on some headers. The cam went in like it should but the dern headers are a mother. I am having major pains getting the passenger side to line up due to room and I am looking for any fox body or capri guys who have tips. These are not my first headers to put on but definately the hardest so far. My main thought now is that the headers either suck or its cause their is an auto tranny in there. Any advice? Also, they are heddman's and I have never used this brand before so I called their techs and they had nothing to say. Literally, nothing. So any help would be cool.

Refresh me on their style again, are they single flange, or individual?

I am sorry, I am not sure what you are asking. They are like every other header with the main plate, primary tubes running into a 3" collector. Here is the info on the header I am trying to install....http://www.hedman.com/pages/hedmanmain.html . The motor is the same as any mid 80's stang and to my knowledge the body is about the same. Except for the obvious things like the bubble hatch and such.

What I mean by individual flange is the part where you bolt the header to the head....is it a solid steel flange that ties all of the individual flow tubes together, or are they individual tubes that bolt up to each port on their own.

Oh sorry, I have worked all weekend and my brain is not firing on all cylinders. yeah, its the single flange equal length headers. I raised the motor up and pushed it over to get the passenger side in place and I also had to pull the starter. But with the header in the space next to the block the starter has no chance of going back in. So as of now its tying up my lift and I am about to just put the stock ones back on and get rid of these things. Also, I have not had a chance to bolt it all up THEN put the motor back on its mounts, but from eyeballing it if the headers are bolted up they will not let the motor line back up to the mounts. I looked at it and thought about pulling the transmission because the little bulge for the starter in the bell housing seems to be what is giving me the most trouble. But once again if I bolt up the headers I don't think the tranny will be able to be bolted back up. Not to mention the starter fitment issues.
