the guy said it was 1/2" short on each side but as i looked close you couldn't even tell.

you could go with the 6cy v6 grill if you don't like the lights but like the grill...?

I don't really like it...

I think the 2006 V6 grille would look better, but at that point you might as well have used the 67' light bar grille anyways...

I looked to do this too, but couldn't figure how to make it fit. I made a couple trips to Ford dealer to measure and located these grills cheap on Ebay. Instead,I bought a 2005 horse, cut holes in grill and mounted lights ala "Mustang in Black". I like mine better.

Yes, please. I have seen more than one custom shelby light grills, and one that shows a couple pics of how to, but not clear or a very nice job.

If I were to do one, I would want it to look semi-pro, or not at all.

Oh, here is a diff angle I think:

Here is some other grill... Not sure what the grill is.

Looks too busy for me. I like my 67 with just the black out look. I even took the running horse off. I guess I'm just old fashion.

dont they make a different grill as well that resembles the 65-66 GT frilles, with two smaller driving ligths and corral for the pony?

Yep, the smaller lights come on the "Pony" package on the '06 Mustang. Not sure of the grill pattern though.

You can't tell much from these pictures, but I cut additional rings for lights and fabbed adjustable mounts on the radiator support. This picture was taken before mounts were made, etc.

In my dreams?

Seriously, the car isn't painted yet, but I will take some newer pics with lights and mounts this weekend and post.
