Pic of brake pad retainer, is this correct?

i looked at my pads after getting annoyed by the click whenever i tap the brakes. i was told it was suspension, well its the pads.

i do not remember any hardware going here, is there something missing or do i just need new pads?

the end of the pad is moving up and down enough to make it click when i touch the brakes. i'll order all new pads if these need replaced i guess.

looks like i am missing the anti-rattle clips on the other side of the pad where the pin slides through.

good thing, saves me $150+ on pads.

That is correct, the new hardware kit can be picked up at your local parts store for $10 or so...

thats crazy, ive had these pads on the car for close to 10k probably now. never made a noise until the last 600 or so miles.

ill get to the parts store tomorrow and pick some up.
