If you're using the stock springs on those GT-40P heads, your choices are limited.

The stock springs are single springs without dampers and are only good to .450" lift.

I'm going to upgrade the valve springs. I know that i don't want a TFS or letter cam . I've been eyeballing the steeda #19 and the comp XE270.

Any other suggestions?

I used a Anderson N-21 on mine. Your computer will accept the #19 much better though.

P's hit a wall at .510 lift. The N-21 is .512 It is a match to the heads. Unless you do bigger valves or port the piss out of them look for a cam at or below .510-.512.

The XE270 would be good too, they are a great line of cams.

IT is your computer... that will dictate the camshaft!! They are hard to please!!

Upgrade the springs on the P's befor you put them on the car... make sure your camshaft is for the 94-95 computers. The E cam will work along with the other mentioned... your choices are good!!

Just me.........................................

I called Summitt and they recommended the Crane 2030 and matching valve springs!! It works well with no idle issues and has a reall nice lope!! I get compliments all the time!! Good luck with that decision, it took me forever to decice!!

Thumper is correct. The e-cam will match both your car and heads best. Your computer is much harder to please than the fox puters.
