i think my pickup coil went bad,my car has 130k on it i was drving down road and it was fine got into town(red light to red light)and it had a hesitant spot around 2 grand.then i got back on interstate kicked down to pass someone and it like started popping and crackin i thought dist had moved so i got out and checked timing and drove on.got almost home it popped again and started making a squeeling noise almost like when a ac locks up but not as loud then i shut it off popped cap off and noticed it was dirty put it back on thinkin i would get home got maybe 750ft down road it made a loud backfire and died i checked timin by bring number 1 up its dead on and put my coil on a diff car it worked only thing i can think of is the pick up coil am i right or is it something different
