how do they look? easy install?
I haven't seen it complete yet. Intall was a pain on the front. And I wasn't there for the rear. He bought brand new springs so he said only dropped a little in the front and they havent settled yet...and he didn't cut the rear spring so its stock ride height in back. Mine are all used, and I will not use my front lower isolaters...so hopefully mine will sit pretty low. I'll be installing mine this weekend, I can't wait. He rides on 15" prostars with skinnies up front...it looks real badass!

Springs are a cake install the front can be a bit hard when trying to seperate the ball joint from the spindle but the rears took less than 10 mins. Of course it's easy when you have access to a lift and impact tools

I've done springs before without that stuff and it's just as hard but takes a little longer. Springs on my 99 took a total of 35mins while on my 67 it took me about 2 hours and amazingly enough the suspension isn't all that much different between the them

You did all 4 springs in 35 minutes??? Thats pretty damn fast!

Yup used the lift at my little brother's garage he works at put her in the air and used a impact to get everything lose then a BFH to drop the spindles had to use a ball joint puller which tore both the boots on em so I'll need to replace them sometime soon then I just stepped down on the lower control arm and pulled the spring free. For the rear unhooked the quad shocks and the driveshaft used a transjack to support the differential and me and my other brother just hung from the sway bar and they rear's poped right out.

Took longer to drop the gas tank and put in the steeda dual pumps than it did to put my catback and springs on.

I pulled the ball joint cause the strut bolt was frozen on both sides on the bottom and I was stripping it. I didn't want to have to cut it off or have to drag out the torch to heat it up to get it lose. Normally I woulda just unbolted it from the top of the car but my other brother was underneath pulling the catback off we were in time saving mode so I opted to just pull the ball joints and seperate it that way. I've gotten pretty good at pulling ball joints have done more than I can count so I simply pulled em which took 1-2 mins it just ended up tearing the boot but I'm coming up on 60k miles so they woulda needed to be changed eventually.

If I had to do it again I think it would be a toss up as to which way was easier pulling the strut from the top or dropping the ball joint. I know dropping the ball joint gave me free motion on the control arm and allowed me to drop the control arm low enough for the spring to just fall out. Where as with the strut you have to manuever it in and out of the fender well or compress it. Either way it's not hard was just the best option for me with the time I had to use my bro's shop.
