Mike, is this from back when you got tagged in the butt?

She looks nice. :nice:

Yup. It took me a while to find the bumper I was looking for. I finally found this one last week at a junkyard for $100. I was planning on going with a smooth bumper, but shipping cost more than the bumper itself. :nonono:

It's not DSG, but it's similar. This is a GM color called Medium Gray Metallic or Charcoal Metallic. It's a little darker than DSG, it looks almost black until the light hits it. I used the same color on a few things under the hood. I love how it looks against the Laser Red. :)

More pics! :D

It still needs wet sanded and buffed, mainly because I went a little crazy with the clear and got a few runs in it. Overall I'd still say it's my best paint work to date! It's also my first time using metallic paint on something fairly large.

Looks nice... Where did you get your paint from...the Laser Red that is?!?!?:nice:

Got it from a local paint store, Auto Paint Works. Laser Red is crazy expensive, I think it was over $100 for a pint! I bought it last summer to paint my interior, so I don't remember the exact price.

Thanks guys! :) I'll post some new pics once I get the new tires on and get the bumper buffed out....Which will probably be next weekend.

Looks great! I have tried my hand at painting body parts a couple times and I have to commend you for getting good results with a metallic paint, it's tricky. The first time I tried it, I had a tiger stripe thing goin on with the metallic, so I had to sand and respray...wasn't too happy about it.

Are you gonna do any inserts for the lettering? Pretty sure I know somebody who could hook you up ....*cough* tom *cough* :D

Are those massive meats goin on deep dish bullitts like before? they look badass

I was very afraid of having tiger stripes, but it seems to have turned out really good. My only problem was with the clear. I'm used to painting with the cheap stuff, but I got some good clear for my car because that's what was used on the rest of the car. It covers much better than the cheap stuff so I put it on too thick and got some runs in it. I'm hoping I can sand it smooth without taking off too much of the clear.

I haven't decided if I want inserts or not...It's definitely a possibility tho. :)

Those are the new M/T 315/35 ET Street DR's and they are going on in place of my Goodyears. I can't afford two set's of rims! :p lol .... I stacked up both sets of tires beside each other and the MT's are actually wider by about a 1/4 inch total.
