Pics of 67/68's with 18's please

no, the 69 pic helps too. Thanks. My problem is also how wide. Mickey Thompson has some new 17.5 inch wide radials that are bad a**. I could scale back and do Nitto DR's in 335's or so, but either way, I need either a 12- or 15- inch wide wheel. Boyd charges $950 for 18x12's each. This car has 800+ HP, but will be street driven.

car is tubbed and was a former drag car. It had big Mickeys on it when I got it, but I now plan to run tailpipes which would not have much room using the 17.5 wides. Tough decisions.....

:nice:

Slicks? :)

Don't get too close to those pipes :D ...you could always move them more imboard like one of those exotic european sporty things that won't touch you on the straights....but pass by you on the curve like you're sitting still. :hail2:

No room there either. I built an enclosure to house the fuel cell that I dropped to trunk level (4 inches or so below rear valance). I fabbed the cell to use the rear gas fill (no more open the trunk for a fill up), so I literally would have about 3.25 inches of room to run my planned 2.5 exhaust. I'm talking myself into the DR's as I type.
