Holy carp. Did it give you any warning before it let go? Usually guys will get really bad vibration problems, and continue driving their cars for a month before doing anything about it.......

btw thats probably the worst Ive ever seen a stock bottom let go....well except the thread where the guy bolted up a cogged YSi with almost 20lbs of boost on a stock bottom....made almost 700rwhp for a few seconds on the dyno lol.

that blows, and sucks monkey balls!!!!!!! lol i was beat to it to, a fram oil filter? its all about the k&n or mobile 1 well now you have an excusse to build a motor....if you were ok on money. get some afr heads.

i got the professional products balencer, im glad i replaced it it was causing bed vibrations.

I didn't know theese were an issue....I have 190,000 Km's (maby 125K miles) should I worriy about changing mine...can you just buy a replacement from a parts store

Not just the balancer to watch for but also the stock balancer bolt. Had my shear off at low rpm ( 10 mph in heavy traffic ). The balancer moved forward but was stop by the motor case on my BM electric fan,it kill the all the fan blade but it did not do any more damage. The side load from a supercharger really stress the unit.
The snout of the balanceralso come apart in my hand when I tried to remove it.
Now I am using a $18 ARP bolt .

Yeah, I had something similar happen once. My balance started working backward and rubbed a hole in the timing cover.

that has to be the worse ive seen must have been a true stock bottom end

I've got 85,000 miles...should i change it soon?

My friend thinks Fram is the best...glad I didn't listen to him!

yea u can get one at the autopart store for like 60 OEM replacement... but i got a pinoneer one from summit for 130 bucks... just something a lil better.. didnt want to go cheap on that kind of part... works great!

That mess is nothing a little JB weld won't fix.....That and a little bit of motor honey, you should be good to go.
