Well guys I finished mocking up my engine and realized that Ive got some clearance issues to deal with yet. I had hoped to get the engine under the stock hood, but I will have to run a plenum spacer to clear the valve covers and return lines on the fuel rails. The bottom of the TB where the throttle cable hooks up hits the valve cover with the EGR spacer on, and it hits the return line with out the EGR spacer. Oh well I guess thats a good reason to buy a cowl hood. Any way here are some pics of the motor. Let me know what you guys think of the color combo. Its going into a white engine bay when the weather gets warmer.

Im using a Quicktime bell. It is what Rick recomended because of its small size and high strength. I will try and get a better pic tomorrow.

It can be used for either the T-5 or TKO's. It is SFI. It has 2 differnt locator rings and both the above transmissions should bolt right up. It has a few different bolt patterns on it. You can find on this web page.

Take your balancer to your engine builder and they can take the wheights off the one you have now. Take the flywheel to.

They are BBRC's and Rick's special set up. Both rails are fed from the back off of a aeromotive Y-block and return to dual ports on the regulator and dump out the bottom to the main return line.

Looks awesome. What brand of paint did you use? I want to do the same with my 408 but in blue instead. Where did you get the valve covers? I've seen them a lot but want to know a place to get them.
