I have no idea why I thought the intake came from the factory with 'D' shaped runners. Now I need an extra intake to toy with.
Off to ebay...

What type of tool did you use-Dremel?

Good port work. I want to do the same on my Performer efi manifold. What type of tools do I need? Thanks

I have a dremel tool. I didn't do the work. I got the intake from a guy in Tulsa for $30. I didn't know how good the work was so I posted pics so that tmoss could evaluate it.

Wait a minute, did the ALCAN intake or whatever come stock with those d shaped runners, or did the previous owner just port it out like that?

they were ported all the intakes that are stock other than the truck were oval
