I had the same problem. I had to upload mine to my kodak gallery and then post the link. There's alot of sites you can do this on. Others will know the names. I think photobucket may be one.

Wow... echo

You need to resize the pictures to get under the 78Kb size limit. It sucks because 78Kb just isn't enough for good detail. Wish they would bump it up to 100Kb.

yeah, maybe the moderator will get all of our hints and change the format to allow bigger space.(or whatever its called)
so we can all post pics.
wouldnt that be great

I know its possible, I belong to a few other automotive forums and posting pics has never been an issue, until I try to post here.

Yeah.. most forums have limits in the 100-250Kb range. 78Kb was enough...like 4 years ago.

Go to a image host such as photobucket.com or imageshack.com to "hold" your photos. From here (stangnet.com) you can upload them onto this forum and voila!

the only one who has my photos will be me.

The last thing I need is to give them my name and email address so I can store pics with them. nothing's free , they're out for something.
places like that sell your info and you start getting spam, junkmail, and virus'
I'll pass
I'll wait until Stangnet updates their pic storage

i honestly dont think its necessary to be paranoid about an image hosting site....if you still are though....just make up crap...like "Billybob Johnson, Hicktown, TX, etc etc etc..."

or u could just resize your pictures in a photo editor...or set your camera to take less quality pictures so they wont be so big in kb....

I dont think you can just upload pics, they NEED to be hosted by another site.I use photobucket and let it resize for me.

imageshack.us doesnt ask for any info....... they pay their bills by the ads.

Most of my photos are around 350-500KB. I resize them to 15% of the original size before I try to post them. That usually make them less than 20KB.
I have been using Microsoft Paint to edit my photos. It's pretty easy to use. Good Luck.
