Lower it a little and then it would look AWESOME. Still looks good now, though!

I'm not going to change the headlights or fog lights or lower it or anything else. What I am going to do is enjoy it for what it is. and that is a 25 year old muscle car in northern Wisconsin with no rust is fun to drive and gets looks and thumbs up everywhere i go because it the only 1987-93 mustang gt for miles. and i like it just the way it is! and THAT is what matters.

That car needs wheels in a bad way. Otherwise it looks great. Nothing beats factory style headlights

You guys are incorrigible! change your own cars. If I would have known that after I was done, and I posted the final pics, that everyone was going to throw out their opinions on what ELSE needs to be done; I would have never posted the final pics. This project took 3 years of my life and completely drained my bank account, drove my wife crazy and estranged my friends. The head lights and fog lights were what I could afford at the time. In fact they were purchased in 2004, piece by piece. the rims are only still stock because a tooth brush, baking soda and vinegar are much cheaper than a new set of 4 lugs, and tires. I don't even want to think about the cost of a 5 bolt conversion kit and rims and tires and whatever else I run into or think I or you guys think i need! so enjoy the paint and leave your expensive opinions to yourself please. I can't afford them and neither can my marriage.

1. We do change our own cars, its kind of the whole idea of the forum. Otherwise we'd just post pics of our most recent oil change.
2. 5 lug isn't an expensive swap, give it a look up
3. Paint looks great, but posting pictures on an Internet forum and telling people to keep their opinions to themselves would result in a thread full of people responding with
"Yes, I am able to view the image you posted via my browser. Confirmed"

Relax, enjoy what you built and take the criticism constructively. These cars are NEVER done.

I'm sorry you guys are absolutely right. work on a mustang is never done. I just need to take a long break(or the wife will kill me). I'd love to see some chrome ponies on my car. and I do wish I had purchased the chrome reflector headlight and not the black back ground. I wonder what kinda criticism I would have got if i showed pics of the back of the car, sporting cheese graters. (which I like) I do have a set of lx's in case I change my mind later. which we usually do. thanks for the input guys. it was my wallet that was upset at the suggestion. not me. really, it was

All is good man. Nothing wrong with standing up for a project youre proud of. And you'll never see anyone here knock anything painted sonic blue. There's quite a few fans of the GT tails as well (I'm not one of them but they work). We all like to joke around and have a good time so take it all lightly.
most of us cant afford a ground-up build all at once either.
Hell my car doesn't even move and I always have an opinion
