Pics of the new engine...

DOH, I already painted the alternator and power steering pump black...but I decided I'm leavin the pulleys aluminum.

Got the tranny crossmember modified today for the TKO 600 and got that bolted up. I'll have to get a few shots of the underside of the car...thats the part that actually looks sweet :D

Heres a pic just after I got the headers on....that was a pita. Done it a few times on a 302 before, but never on a 351. My poor headers are all scratched up down near the collectors :( Seem to have lots of steeringshaft clearance though, so that's good. Had to take the passenger side valve cover off so I could get that header in after the driver's side was in.

Nah, that was on my 302 on my hatch back...I had header clearance issues with those. These ones are Mac 1 3/4" long tubes w/3" collectors. I also have a maximum motorsports steering shaft and that helps a bit with header/steeringshaft clearance.

Yeah, I'm gonna have it all painted...inside and out once I get all this mechanical **** done. Maybe next winter. As for rims, I'm thinkin Steeda Ultralites and a set of big brakes as well. Some time before spring for that stuff hopefully.

I don't really want to drive this car without some decent brakes that can actually slow it down :D

Well...I finally got some time combined with some half decent weather. Got the automatic brake pedals ripped out aswell as the 4 cylinder wiring harness.

I also got the Griffin aluminum rad installed and now I gotta figure out a way to mount the Taurus electric fan....Any ideas guys?

Hopefully within a month I have this damn thing ready to turn over. /pray

Not too hard...everything has dropped in for the most part. I'm not lookin forward to putting in the pedal assembly though....such a pita. That and the wiring :(

Theres hardly a bolt I haven't turned on the car though. Not one stock suspension, engine or drivetrain piece in it, and a large amount of the interior has been taken apart. Should be like a new car :D

I am getting parts together to do the same thing. I just scored the clutch pedal assy a couple of days ago, I am hoping it goes in my car easier than it came out of the old one.
