I had a thread going regarding my old car and was essentially talked into buying another 'stang here :D Anyway, people asked for pics of the new car (red), and had also been asking about the damage pics of the old car (black). The new car will be getting some minor bodywork and a paint job along with the hardware from the damaged car.

Eh, not so funny thing happened this weekend AFTER I took the pics. My father backed into and took out one of the red taillight covers. Yes, I can kill right about now. I was swapping them out anyway, but........

No, I'm not fixing the black car. I figured that if I'm going to go through the process of redoing an entire car, I want a perfect chassis/body to work with (aside from a few minor imperfections). I don't know if a black chassis that has been stripped of pretty much everything is worth any money, especially with damage.

i was looking at that car on craigslist.i was curious why the lady didnt email me back.i think her name was sue?btw if you dont mind me asking what you get it for?she told me bottom dollar 2500$ good luck phil.

Pony Boy: LOL! Yeah, I tried to get her down to $2,500, took it for $2,800. Ah well, I guess I'm not that great a negotiator. I actually called and left a message on her cell and she got back to me pretty quick. I had the car as of Thursday. Runs good, but i's geting gutted.

Concise: Just be warned , I am stripping pretty much everything from the black car, including the interior. I may transplant the gray interior from the red car back in though (leather). If you still want to buy to do a restore, I'll be happy to sell it to you. I'd love to see someone restore it, the car was good to me (yeah, I'm not attached). I also may have a 302 from the '90 to sell for a rebuild job along with the automatic tranny that seems to be in good shape, I'm converting over to 5-speed. I'm going to give the guy who is supposed to help me first shot at the hardware as payment, but I don't know if he has anywhere to stash any hardware. Let me know what you think. Are you on L.I.?

i was really thinking about getting it but she never sent me any pics but the ones that were on the craigslist ad.i live up in putnam and i didnt feal like going down to li and getting any surprises. good luck with it. phil

Well, it really depends on what you were looking for. The paint is oxidized, but could probably use a good compound/wax job. There is a small dent in the front passeger side fender that can be easily remedied. It really would have depended on what you wanted to do with the car.

OK, your right around the corner from me. I'm in Nesconset. Regarding the hardware, I'm talking the engine, possibly the tranny, the interior, and the rear suspension components. But hey, whatever you want, let me know what you think it's worth when the time comes. I'll probably go pick up a cover for it now knowing that people are interested in the car. I may also have other parts available when everything is said and done. If you know mechanical work, perhaps we could even work a trade somewhere, I may need some help at some point. I might have someone to work with me, but that's not guaranteed.

ok keep me posted.where in nesconsent cause i live right on the border of that and ronk,it would be funny if it was like right around the block.but i usaully know where all the mustangs are around here?maybe i can stop by one day and check things out help you out if you need it.
