Looks like it's sitting a bit high but it's a very nice looking '84!

Very clean car! Ditch the snake and lower it and you would have a super nice hatch. You every take it down the track with those mods?

I love that spoiler on 4-eyes... I have one on mine!

Like said already, all that car needs is lowered and it would look mean. I'm not big on the window snake, but to each his own.

I have thought about lowering it but I have heard traction horror stories that go along with it! What kind of springs would I need to lower it? C`mon guys! Easy on the snake! LOL
I have never ran it at the track but it runs decent for what it is. I mostly love the sound of it.

Steeda Sport, Eibach Pro-Kit, or the FRPP B/C springs are probably some of the most popular. Any spring that only lowers the car 1-1.5 inch or so and you're still safe. Springs that lower the car as much as 2-2.5 inch is when you start to run into problems.

Is it that size in the front and back? It might in the front when you're turning, but you're more than likely safe in the back.

Very clean, I like it!

Some lowering springs would really complete the look IMO

I like it! The snake needs to go though. My 84 was a GT350 and I still didnt think it was right to put a snake on it.

Also, I love four eye Stangs but on a GT I am real particular in wanting the satin black on the hood. Just too old I guess

My father put them on there before I bought it. They are painted on the nose and hood anyway. I promised I would leave them there and besides, I like them. They are Lemans racing stripes and when shes done she will see the road corses pretty regularly.
They are racing stripes and the car is pretty damn close to a race car. 0-60 in 4 seconds or less, quarter low 11's and top speed of over 190 and cornering of 1.18g's (verified)
Its earned its stripes and many Mustangs come with stripes so
If you dont like it then you dont have to drive it

Please post pic of time slip from teh track.

Just playin' about the stripes anyway. Your car looks good. And at the moment, I am more interested in driving my friend's 03 cobra with a t76. I do not suspect this will happen though.

PS.. Ahhh yessss. Another thread derailed.

Well, traction horror stories...that has more to do with your suspension setup than ride height, BUT being at the height you're at now probably will give better weight transfer to the back wheels. But, if you go with a reasonable drop in height you won't know the difference. If you SLAM it then yeah it's not gonna transfer weight very well and it'll break loose easy.
