Please post pic of time slip from teh track.

Just playin' about the stripes anyway. Your car looks good. And at the moment, I am more interested in driving my friend's 03 cobra with a t76. I do not suspect this will happen though.

PS.. Ahhh yessss. Another thread derailed.

T76? Whats that? Is that a new 7 speed?

As far as the times, I am just talking out my ass. The only thing I could get with a new series G-Tech was 1.18 g's continuous (1.8 spiked) and 0-60 times of 4.1 (average) with a 3.8 being the best. Didnt have anywhere to run the 1/4 without seriously breaking the law (1/4 MPH would be higher then 110) so I may never be sure of quarter mile times. The one time I was gonna go to Texas Motor Speedway I was told dont bother cause they wouldnt let me run without a cage. I can run it at the 1/8 track though as its an outlaw track.
I am sure the time will be low 8's or high 7's as I am still unsure of how to launch it at the track. Still have the stock half shafts

A t76 looks something like this..

If you go to the track and run the quarter, you get at least one before you get thrown out. FWIW, NHRA states 11.49 and faster for a cage in a hard top car. I suspect that since you don't have a whole lot of track time, you'd be ok. I know a few people running 11's-10's on stock halfshafts, and know others that grenade them regularly.
I, on the other hand, will be screwed this summer. It's 13.49 or faster for a vert to have a cage. I'd better be deep into the elevens or I will be truly pissed and be pullying the vortech up with a renegade kit and going for a split block.

^ Wasnt thinking turbo conversion.... or compound boost.

See, I thought the same damn thing. IDK why I listened to that douche. On street tires and my lack or race time in something this powerful I would bet I couldnt even crack into the 11's.
I could prolly get a mid 12 my first time out. For some reason when he said 12.49 and faster needed a cage and that they wouldnt even let me run I believed him.
See, in Maui the tech dude knew my car (03 Cobra vert) and wouldnt even let me try a run cause he knew I would blow past the 13.99 limit for a rag top.

I am gonna have to get some extra wheels and DRs and go run this summer then.
Gotta go wheel/tire shopping now, thanks

Turbo conversion. He has a 01 cobra intake on there now. I suspect you'll hit 11's by the end of the day if you have drag radials.
I don't know if it's a local thing, but if your car is STOCK, you can run to an 11.50 in a vert without a cage.
