Id say go next wednsday and gut your seats and what not. Take the rear and passenger seta out.

I was thinking about taking out my rear seats, though I know my dad would kill be because he spent a crap load of money having those things recovered in vinyl. I think my car is light as it is. I want to go next wednesday but ill have to find someone to cover my shift.

haha me too, if the intake dosent do it, itll probably be about a month till the heads go on. Just gotta save up alittle for gaskets and such

and wythors, when I was going to do my head swap I was going to use my stock valve covers, but my rockers dont clear it with the baffle in, so i took it out and i was told that with the baffle out oil will get up into the t/b. They say you put one of those fuel filters in there and it will catch all the oil, letting you use tock valve covers with no baffle. I decided I like how these valve covers look with the ridges on the intake, how they match, so ill just keep these, i already cut the hose though so i just leave it there, dosent do anything for me, but too lazy to change it out. Thanks guys.
i run stock valve covers on my car with the baffle removed, i just plugged the vacuum to the tb and i run a breather instead of my oil cap. I have no probs

:rlaugh: I was sittin here for 5mins or more looking at your pics and thinking that something was missing and I had to go outside look my engine to see what it was and its your battery.I feel like an idot:bang:

hahahaha yea battery REALLY takes up alot of space, moving it to the trunk was one of the the best things ive done, that and taking out the a/c, i love being able to just stick my hand down and take out the oil filter, and not gaving to worry about the ac compressor getting in the way with the intake swap and heads and such.

Your car is just sick

Thank you :D

Remove the GT body kit and install LX stuff if you wanna get your car light. I've heard that **** weighs quite a bit.

good deal! i want to race mob lol

i am getting some vids of my car up soon. never had a video of my car b4 on the net i plugged the camera to my tv and it sounds exactly like mobs!

the seats do look good.

hey can someone clarify this. on the fox leather interiors. i heard that only the front of the front seats (part your body touches) is the only real leather. and that the backs and the back seats are just vinyl..

thanks guys, and yes I have a set of longtubes headers going in when the heads do. I wanted to put them on the stock heads, but idk if they will line up perfect so I think id rather wait till i get the heads in.

And my car almost blew up today :(, though it sucks im happy I didnt go to the track. When I bypassed my heater core, i had to connect the two lines, and where they connect the clips werent too tight, and all the pressure would cause it to leak alittle. So i tightened it when I did the intake swap, and today I was driving and I guess with all the pressure and the tight turns the hose just splut, i have coolant ALL over my engine, it was pouring out of my hood it was so bad, and when I stoped smoke would pour out to the point where i couldnt see, bearly got it home and im gonna rip off the intake and just put one hose instead of the two connected.

I found someone to cover my shift this wednesday so as long as the weather permits I will get you guys some new times! :D

Speaking of those heads...why didn't you put them on when installing the intake? Would have made the most sense to me.

I owe about 60 bucks right now, I didnt have money for the gaskets and all the other little stuff, I agree it would have made sense to through the heads on while I was there, but I just decided I didnt have enough money or time to do it. Ill probably do it fall break whitch is in a few weeks. Ill also need a few hundred bucks to finish the exhaust when the headers go on. Ill need a shop to do some custom welding and cutting for the mid pipe and headers, money I just dont have right now.
