I painted my ponys using Dupli Color Low gloss black I masked off the lip of the wheel & it was stock silver not polished.

After a year with the black wheels I deside to go back to silver, using Dupli Color Silver wheel paint.

Best thing about this is that you can now fix your own wheels lol. My ponys are nearly as old as the car & before I got the nerve to paint them they were in bad shape.
I agree the gun metal color would loo great on your car also.

I agree. I don't blame him though. Sometimes ya get the urge to change things up a bit. Looks incredibly clean as is.

FWIW, my wheels are powder coated (silver LX hatch in post #2). I love that machined lip look.

i put that thread on favorites for when i do mine, but i dont have a paint gun or angle grinder...what other way do you think that could be done? i may be using a rattle can but i dont mind spendind the time with the lip
