Pictures of stripes with factory scoop

I was just at Golf Mill Ford getting something fixed (steering wheel had a scratch in it when I bought the car), and they have a new GT with a stripe setup very similar to HeavyGTs, and it has the scoop, with the vinyl covering it. It looks really cool, and you can hardly tell that the scoop is covered in vinyl unless you look close, so I guess it is possible haha. It wasn't quite wide enough though (the stripe). So I think what I'm going to do is get the stripe like his, but not over the scoop. Then after a trial period if I don't like it, I'll get the scoop covered, if I do like it, then I'll obviously leave it.

Heavy, could you tell me exactly how wide your stripe is, perchance?

i will measure it tonight but i think its close to 19 inches...now that didn't sound right!

wow that's a style I haven't seen yet, it looks pretty cool.

When I get mine, I am starting to think flat black would look awesome. But I am worried that flat black may be difficult to keep nice, since it has no gloss it cannot be waxed (would I have to avoid it when waxing the car, like you do with porous plastic?) and will probably get dirty easier. Starfire have you had any trouble with keeping the flat black looking good or am I totally wrong?
