Last year I had my procharged 02 GT tuned by someone who should be no were near a dyno, he got a whopping 315WHP on a mustang dyno
with my set up which i will list below. When I went to the 1/8 mile track the day before I put my car up, I noticed there was a small amout of engine knocking at the top end on the RPMs. So my question is, will this greatly effect my engine and reduce its life when I get someome else to retune my car? It wasn't very long or a hard sounding ping, but it WAS there , are my pistons on the way out because of this? everything seemed fine exept for mashing the throttle, no loss of power or smoking of the engine. I plan on getting a tune this spring from performance dyno in new hampshire, anyone had good/bad experences with them?
