Piston and rebalance?

I'm thinking of putting 12.1 pistons in my motor. Do i need to get the motor rebalanced or do i just rehone the cylinders and call it good?I'm either getting forged high compression pistons and nitrious and a custom ground rollor cam or going turbo.peace

It all depends on the gram weight of the pistons. Chances are, you'll need a rebalance.

yes yes and yes for rebalance. Your entire rotating assembly needs to be rebalanced, this includes the balancer and flywheel also mang. I thought you were going force induction on that engine John?

well i'm trying to weight things out,pistons cam about $1100 turbo $notsure. either way i'm going with a roller motor so i'll either drill and tap the valley or go with the link bar set up. peace
