Piston to Valve clearance

Hey guys, I have a quick question, I bought a set of heads that have a 2.05 intake valve. Will this require me to notch my stock pistions? I am planning on running a F303 cam with 1.6 RR's. thank you for your help

Yes, you will most likely need to notch your pistons for use with that size intake valve. 1.90 is about as big as you can go with an in-line valve head

I'm running 2.02 on mine without any problems with 1.6 rockers. What kind of heads are these?

They are PBR Strike Force heads, kinda like a knock off of twisted wedges except much cheaper.

If they're a copy of the Twisted Wedge then they might clear. Only way to find out is to check PTVC

If they are a copy of TWS I wouldn't try it. .525 lift is pretty much as big of a cam you can go with on a tws setup and a stock piston
