don't really know what you are asking.Are you have a block bored if so take your pistons to the mahine shop with you and they will check the clearance when they bore it.All you should have to worry about is the ring gap.

You want to run around 6-7 thou with forged pistons usually, but it can vary by application a bit.

That spec should come from TRW. Manufacturer's specs vary.
