PITA Problem

Alright ever since i did my H/c/i install i've been haveign idleing issues. Well when ever i crank the car up after its been sittign a while it will idle just fine. But its a different story after that, say i go to a store or something cut the car off and come back out 10mins later i crank it up it will surge, the battery meter goes crazy, and it surge 3-4 times then it will shut off. But i can hold my foot on the gas for a while and the let off and it will idle just fine again. PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS HELP ME.

Change so far Ignition module,ACT,ECT.

do u have an aftermarket ship ? u could get one, or swhich to 89 computer with PIH harness.

or drill 1/8" hole in your TB blade, and lower your idle setting a bit to compensate and the problem will be history.

It's the 112* LSA on that cam. Get a chip or tuner, skip the PIH. You can band-aid the problem in a few different ways, but that's not an ideal solution. You get a lot of other neat benefits with a chip/tuner, it's well worth it.

thanks now i can save this and tell my dad i get to dish out money to fix it. He is a real tighty when it comes to money even if its my hard earned money that i work for.
