You need to dump codes to see if the ECU is giving you a code 22 with it plugged in. Could be a bad sensor

Ok so I thought I had everything worked out. Car was purring and running like a new car after replacing map sensor. Left track last night and idle started going down then up and with lights on car constantly cuts off when I stop. Battery good and alternator charging, any ideas?

I checked everything on the alternator and it's charging good to. Is there more grounds I need to check

back of head/intake to firewall ground [braided wire strap]
battery negative has a few tails on it make sure one of them runs over to the engine somewhere

check the ecu ground at the battery, it should ground with a small white connector that plugs into the negative cable harness [not sure about your year the 91 i have has this]

I will check on these and let you know. Everytime I have lights on and stop car cuts off.

May not be related unless the voltage drop is significant, make sure the battery ground in connected to the block and not an accessory bracket.

Still have the 2G alternator, the one with the external fan?
If so, that's the 1st mod to do...upgrade to the 3G.

The 2G was a bad design. My alternator guy called it the Ford Fire Starter.
