Please Help: Chirping Noise But I replaced my throwout bearing...!

... I am about to either
a) ghost ride my car into a pole
or
b) sell the f'n thing.

I replaced my clutch about a month to two months ago because the throwout bearing was making that really high - annoying chirping sound whenever my foot came off the clutch... regardless if it was in neutral or not.
Now... it's doing it again, but differently, however, could swear it's the same f'n sound, and i'm ready for murder...
The only differences now, is i have to accelerate to really hear it, the louder it gets, and i do not necessarily have to have my car in neutral to hear it... it's usually when i'm in gear, but rarely ever in 4th or 5th...
please someone tell me something positive, or negative if it's true...
are clutch throwout bearings a common problem? like, GIVE ME STRENGTH.
I hate this thing, and it's starting to waste my money and time...

Any chance you have a small chirping exhaust leak?? Sometimes a small leak will make that chirp sound instead of the pffft noise.

Also ... when my distributor went bad, it started making that chirping throwout bearing sound.

Just trying to help. Also, are you sure the new bearing went in correctly or wasnt a bad bearing from the start?

you can dial in 10# of preload into the cable, as is recommended. it was the solution to noisy TOB's. (very common problem, BTW). when it makes noise, if you slightly press the clutch pedal in, and it stops, that confirms the TOB.

what brand of TOB was it? what material was it made out of? some are a lot better than others.

good luck.

yea, it sure doesn't sound like your tob you're describing now. I think the tob make a constant chirp no matter where you are or what gear, even neutral and yes, TOB are a constant problem with our cars- that's why people get adjustable cables and research clutches ALOT before they buy

Did you replace the bearing retainer on the tranny with one of those HD ones, its like $50 from D&D I would highly reccomend it. The original is probably wore out so no matter how many TOB's you put on it is still gonna chirp.

throwout bearing are a very common problem, on any car. it really doesnt sound like the problem though. Someone said exhaust leak. Im quite curious about an exhaust leak that chirps. to be honest, ive never heard one do that. the distributor thing might be a possibility. nowadays, its the strangest things that do the noises.
