I'm desperately looking for someone in Northern NJ to help me repair my '80 Mustang by November. My landlord said if it is not running by first snow it'll have to go. I am willing to pay for parts and labor but can not afford a shop. I've been told it costs $2500. just to get the engine fixed. I can afford about half that. I am also planning on getting some rust repaired and a new paint job. This would be great for someone's portfolio and I will include before, during, and after pictures of any size. Email me at strabrijam@aol.com and if you have a site please send me the URL .
thanx

Well, I live in Central Jersey, near Trenton. Right now I am a Diesel Engineer for the U.S. Coast Guard, but I have 3 years previous experience as an automotive technician.

What exactly is the problem with the car?

Thanx for writing

Well I've been told it needs a new motor and I'm not sure what else. I've already had a bunch of stuff done to it costing $1900. I do definately want it to pass inspection and then get it painted.

I'm about an hour away from Trenton

My uncle lives Hamilton so I kind of know the area. Unfortunately the car would have to be towed to get there and that could cost alot itself. Thank you though
