Hey guys, I have been hearing this really strange noise from my car when I gradually ease my foot off the clutch pedal when going into first gear up a hill. If there is no significant strain, then the noise will not happen. I do not have to be giving it much gas at all for this happen. Also, it seems to make this noise sometimes when I use the gears/engine to slow down as I am letting my foot off the clutch pedal. It sounds similar to a record getting scratched really hard, but much rougher (of course) and it sounds like something is loose. Once my foot is fully off of the clutch pedal, however, the car pulls and sounds fine. Keep in mind though, it is only a sound, the car is not feeling any different when going into gear.
I had a stage 2 performance clutch put on the car several months ago. Maybe something needs to be tightened?? I obviously have no clue.
Anybody know what could be wrong with my car???
