I am running a stock 351 W in a 1970 fastback. I have a $1500 budget for the engine. What is the fastest/easiest/cheapest way to get lots of horsepower?? any ideas will help a lot!!

Is it a solid motor? Rings still sealing? Get a re-ring kit, port your own heads, cam, intake, headers, exhaust, carb. That should eat up 1500 pretty quick. Keep it on the mild side or you will need converter, if auto, and rear gears. Big gears and street tires are a waste. If you do slicks, big gears are cool, but not in the budget.

50 - 100 HP shot of NOS would be the cheapest. (around $500 for a complete, safe system) Then use the rest of the money to keep refilling your NOS bottle and gas tank after using up your "need for speed".
