PLEASE HELP! TRANS PROBLEMS

I have a 97 v6 with a B/W t-5. it went south. need some help id'ing which transmissions will fit my car I see alot on e-bay but most say for 5.o or v8. Does anyone know what year model s will fit without mods or a web site I can got to to see what will swap out for that model year

I'm pretty sure that all Essex and Windsor model 3.8L V6's will take a 5.0 T-5 tranny and bolt up perfectly fine. Otherwise look for a 3.8L V6 withing the years of 94- 2000 and maybe 2001 - 2004 that once had a T-5.
