Ok, so I leave my friends house awhile ago w/ low fuel. As I turn out to the main road I see the low fuel light come on. Thats fine, I pull into the gas station put the credit card in and put $10. When I get in the car, I turn it on and I'm immediately on my way. Not even a minute goes by and I notice the low fuel light still on and the needle on the gas gauge is going lower and lower. I'm thinking WTF? So I pull over thinking I didn't give it time to go up before I drove off. I turn off the car, wait for a couple of seconds, and turn it back on to the same results. When I get closer to my house, I pull into another gas station and put ANOTHER $10. I turn it on, and it's still on negative E! I try to see if the car is running a little funny but it seems as though nothing is wrong. So I get to my house, I pop the hood and try disconnecting the negative on the battery to reset the computer. I wait about 5 minutes, hook the battery back up and crank it up. Still no luck! I haven't had this problem before, and it seems as though it came all of a sudden. What could have caused this problem and what can I do to fix it? Any advide would be apreciated, thanks in advance!

sending unit took a crap , just get a new pump and sender from the dealer , or see if you can find some stock upgrades , although the choices of those are slim , and most aftermarket pumps are just hte pumps not the sending unit which you will almost certain have to get at the dealer
