I recently was having problems with my 91 lx that has a 347 stroker on it. Whenever i was releasing the clutch a pop sound was coming out of what we thought was the rear end. After further investigation i realized that the problem was more serious so i quit driving it. After consulting with a family friend their thoughts were that it was the transmission seeing as i was running a stock t-5. well to put a long story short he got the smart idea to drive it and we found him half a mile down the road on the side of the road with a huge puddle of transmission fluid. Not only did he completely trash the transmission but he also bent my drive shaft and shattered my rear end. I am now in a serious perdicament seeing as i was going to fix the car so i could sell it. But now seeing as i have to replace all of these parts im going to keep it. I wanted to get some good advice on what parts to order to where i'm not completely breaking my wallet but i also want the parts to be very durable.
