Plenum cover

Does anyone know the "silver" color of the Mustang GT factory intake plenum cover? I got this aftermarket front extension piece and despite the good fit, the color is off and I'd like to paint to match. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Not sure of the exact color but where did you get the piece from since I was going to buy the same piece and don't want to have the same problem or use the same vendor?

wow that is off. You must have had a bad bunch of paint. I've seen others that matched quite well. Sorry, don't know what the stock paint color is off hand. Midwest Auto Gear knows.

The box was marked NXT Generation / California Pony Cars but I purchased the part from Moss Muscle. (neither of which was very helpful)

I'm not sure but just have a paint shop match it. Worst case is have them paint both of them.
