ok i need a pic or diagram of the starter relay for and 87 5.0 5spd

on the pos side i have a yellow, blue, green, black&white wires

on the neg side it goes to the starter...i think!

the top skinnie post is a red&blue wire

is this right?

when the car is running the green wire smokes. why??

car is not running good

now does it mater if the dizzy is on intake or exh valve when you put the dizzy back in ???

could a bad ground for the inj cause it to run like crap or is any ground good??

the distributor should be installed with the #1 cyl at top dead center on the compression stroke(both valves closed)

make sure all 3 main grounds are good (battery to chassis, battery to block, block to chassis) as well as all computer and component grounds.

if the green wire is getting hot then you have a problem with that circuit.

if you mean a green fusible link then that goes to the Alt.
