The odd shaped one is the test port for the eec system and it should be located right by the driver's side hood hinge. The other two are for the connectors for the engine/front end harnesses

sorry one last question for now, i cant find the connector, that goes to this plug. it hooks up to the starter selonoid, and when the battery is connected, it is the only plug with juice(i used a test light). i dont know if it should plug into another plug in the harness or if it has an extension or what.

seriously, thanks a lot. i really appreciate this.

The two rounded plugs in the first picture go to the ignition system, headlamps, etc. Nothing will work right without them plugged in. Regarding the most recent pic., have you got another picture of the other plug in on that harness?

now this isnt in a mustang, so i dont need the headlights or tail lights or side markers to work with the mustang harness, i still have the Rx-7 headlight harness hooked up. so what i'm asking is, does that plug effect my engine? or do i still need to plug it with another connector?

Here ya GO!!!!

You can see, in the first diagram, that there's a +12 start for the TFI. You'll probably need this to start the car.

Good-luck.

i'm not sure I understand what you mean????

In your first picture you can see that 1 plug is brown and 1 plug is black. #31 is the brown one, as stated in the diagram. That's all I can really tell you.

Check out the link I posted above. It has everything you need to make a Ford fuel injected vehicle run. It's basically directions to make your own harness.

This is the EGR Valve Position sensor (EVP). There's a trick to bypass it, although I've never done it.

On to the question. what wires should be connected to my starter? cuz as i was down there i noticed i only had one wire running from my starter to my starter selonnoid. and there are two other bolts on there with nothing connectedd. again thanks.

if someone can take a gander, and look under their car for a sec, then just trace back the wires. that would be much appreciated. sorry if i sound immpatient. i think this might be the cause of my no-start problem
