No, its the first time i tried these Denso Iridium plugs. There were in the car for 30.000 km,s . I used copper core before and changed them each year.I'm no expert but I don't see anything wrong. The center electrode is naturally small on those plugs. Side electrode looks fine. Can't see the insulator... is it cracked or worn or crusty with anything?
These are the IT22 . They are colder plugs i think. I used the TR6,s years back with MSD Dis 4 till it self distructedI used them for many years with no problems when I was stock. Now that I have a Kenne Bell SC I use NGK TR6... step colder.

$3.50 and $15 HERE .Denso Iridiums are so expensive. I tried them and then I think I went to NGK TR-55. Kenne Bell recommends the TR-6s for me. Denso Iridium are great plugs... so are NGK. I get my NGKs for about $1.80 a plug. My Iridiums were like $8 a plug.
You are correct. I do use a fuel additive to help increase the Octane. I,ve done this since the Supercharger was installed back in 1998 .They look pretty much fine. The red-ish color could have come from fuel additive or octane booster, but of course that doesn't much matter. To actually read the plug for AF ratios or to know if it is too cold/hot, you would have to run a clean plug and shut the engine off during the pull, then immidiately read the plug before even idling. All you can tell is if everything is generally fine in the engine.

I had a problem with spark blowout so the MSD was installed to use with the NGK,s. When the MSD blew up , the replacement was $520 Cnd $ . To my way of thinking the plugs were a cheaper way to go as long as they worked , and they did . I found nothing wrong with the NGKs , just had to change em each year and would not work for me without the MSD.Ouch...! I have a guy here at Checker that if I call before he gives me a 15% discount. And some other discount just for acting cool to him on the phone.
What supercharger are you running? I think the NGKs might work fine for you. But your Densos look fine. Are you having problems?
