well im changing the plugs in my stang and i went to the store to buy some autolite coppers and they didnt have any so the guy sold me some autolite 764 double platinums. are they as good as copper plugs, cuz i know they'll last longer. i was taking the word of a lot of people on here about the copper plugs but the guy at advance auto sat there and argued with me for like 15 min about the copper vs. platinum plugs. i ended up buying the double platinums cuz i was too lazy to go anywhere else, i wasnt too worried cuz this is the only place ive ever heard copper reccomended over platinum, whats the difference supposed to be??? because im just confused now, i know platinum is a better conductor, but copper is supposed to give a hotter spark? can someone explain this to me?
