PMAS - STAY AWAY

Deuce..we get temps from Olsten ..we do physical work..and they will send us either gray haired guys or 400lb guys...just funny to see some of these guys come in when you know what is going to happen....the good ones will actually call to say there not coming back...but usually they just never return
 
Some of our work is physical: like palletizing cases of liters at 120 bottles per minuet, but most is just repetitive: packing 12 or 24 botlles of shampoo in a case, or putting bottles on a line before they are filled. You would not believe how most people can not count to 12 or 24. The first thing I tell newbies is that the case does not say UP TO 12 or 24, it means exactly 12 or 24.

But still, Kelly services sends us the 58-60 year old crowd, or the people that are just working long enough to qualify for some sort of Governemnt assistance or until their PO catches up with them. You can just look at some of these people and tell they won't be worth the trouble.

Really, it is better if they would just not show up the next day, but the ones that suck seem to come to work every day where I work. Go figure.
 
Wow. Amazing that this all was going on and I had no clue. I am glad that the situation between donovan and PMAS has been cleared up. Now onto the comments regarding our company.

We have and provide a 24/7 phone line. This is for you to call and order or check on your order status. If you call me I am going to tell you that PMAS has the meters on backorder. Otherwise you should have recieved an email. Now obviously SOMETIMES things like this happen where they get a bad shipment of molds (non of use knew that was going to happen) and so we tell our customers the meters should ship on a certain date and then that doesnt happen. You guys have to realize we have tons of backorders here we try to manage daily and make sure everyone is updated on the situation.
At the same time we try to leave the guys at PMAS alone so they have time to work on meters rather than check on ETAs.

Now with this all said. I want to take the opportunity here to come out and FULLY APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE THAT HAS PURCHASED A PMAS METER FROM COOL BLUE PERFORMANCE and was unaware of the "backorder" status and situation. I will even state that "we made a mistake" and were unable to get EVERYONE that correct status on the meters/orders. Ill take full responsability for that mistake and issue.

Should you choose not to buy from us because of this post that is fine. There are many other PMAS distributors just check on their site www.massairsystems.com for the one nearest you. Should you choose to purchase from us we will take care of you the best we can and we will be monitoring the backorder status of these meters MUCH CLOSER after this incident.

Remember this is a unique and very very uncommon situation for PMAS to have a meter on backorder this long. Obviously its not their fault, our fault, or your fault...... so nobody should suffer or be blamed. We however should be blamed if we did not udpate you on your meter status. Again I extend a PERSONAL APOLOGY TO EVERYONE who feels they have been under - served.

Please call me ask for Anthony - 601 488 1062 ill give you a personal apology on the phone. Its not my fault you dont have your meter, but maybe it is my fault if you had no clue there was a wait time on the meters. We try very hard to "predict" when the meters will ship.....but sometimes things like this happen and it screws us up.

We do fill these orders in order that they we were recieve by us. We are shipping meters everyday. The final meter including new orders is scheduled ship no later than 4-11-06. Also to those who have posted in our defense thanks for the support we appreciate it. Again we apologize for all the confusion and issues from this long back order. We have taken extra measures to make sure this should not happen again.

All internet companies should take your lead and be more than willing to respond to a situation like this the way Anthony did. This is an extremely professional move, and I appluad this.
 
I agree. Had I know this was even here before yesterday i'd have been posting like this days ago. One thing to note is our customer donovan was NOT the easiest person to work with. I did TRY to prevent a confrontation between him and the guys at PMAS....He was just very hard to deal with, but maybe for good reason...... I know how people get when waiting for their mass air meter.....

Secondly we are NOT just an internet company. Internet companys dont have $5,000 a month ads in the MMFF magazine (look for a 4 color full page ad to hit newstands May 23 and subscribers May 16). We have a real company here. There are employees, overhead cost, bills, and the occasional irate customer. Anyone in business that says "i can please everyone" really needs to rethink that statement because it is impossible.


With that said we will be monitoring this mass air situation much closer from now on. If you order you'll be updated weekly on the status..........this is an agreement PMAS and CBP came to just the other day so that we can work together to ensure this does not happen again.

This is exactly what I have been trying to get across. I think there are a lot of people on here that need to learn this, young and old. Someone somewhere is going to find fault with any given company. Things just happen without anyones control. We just need to be a little more patinet.
 
UPDATE:
It is Monday night, April 10, 2006, 8:41 p.m. E.T. All backordered and recent (up to Friday) 80mm meter orders have left the building. Most of these meters were dropped shipped 2 day and 3-day at our cost on any that were 4 to 5 day zones from us. We apologize for all inconveniences and thank everyone who was patient.

All distributors have all tracking numbers to give to anyone needing one. Dawn
 
I got mine 80 mm Pmas. And i had to wait for 2 weeks but i don't go and put the company down because they taking longer :nono:
If you orderd the product then wait it will get to you :) Just have some patience

I'm happy with they product !!! It was worth the wait :nice:
