Hit a bad hole after which the service engine light came on , went home hooked up tester & brought up PO136 - O2 sensor circuit malfunction [ BANK1SENSOR 2 } checked all the conections & all seemed OK , erased code went for a drive went about 15 miles -no service engine light - hit a bump - back on same code ? is bank 1 sensor 2 is that drivers side rear sensor ? ? ? everything seems tight ????? any of you guys ever seen this before ? its a 99 4.6 , again thanks in advance ....also that front O2 sensor looks like a tough get at , I have no lift but on the ramps & jacked up I coudnt even find where the front O2 sensor conector is ? all the wire seem tight , no burn marks nothing seems loose ? please help ....... thanks again

yeah its an annoying problem, you sensor should be fine. have you swapped the mid pipe, also, are the wires leading from the sensor up to the harness loose, hanging? i had the same problem for a long time, noticed my wires were not secured the way they were before the pipe swap, so i wired them up and bam no more problems
no sure why it would make a difference but it does. i removed the wires and the problem came back. any ideas?

Thanks , no my front pipes are the originals , everything as I can see looks tight I was hoping someine would write in .... if someone reads theses posts give us a hand , what are the banks & number one & two O2 sensors , drivers side - front or back ....
