Polished aluminum cleaning?

My car has 17 cobra rims that are polished aluminum..I have treid a few different ways of cleaning them as they are kind of oxidized from the previos owner not taking good care of them...I tried mothers mag and aluminum polish with decent results and have also tryed a dremel with polishing pads to remove the polish I spread by hand..the dremel tends to put markings all over the wheels wich looks horrible...there must be a better way to make them shine again...any help?

White Rouge on a drill with a buffing arbor should do the trick. That's all I use.

I agree with Tim, just use the White Rouge on a drill with either a Canton Flannel or Loose Section Buffing wheel if your rims aren't in that bad of shape.

But if your rims are really stained and dirty you may want to use Tripoli on a Spiral Sewn Buffing wheel first before you use the White Rouge.
