Polished Brakes

I remember a thread on Stangnet a few months (probably years) ago that mentioned somebody taking a dremel tool and polishing their brake calipers to a somewhat glossy shine. Anyone have any pics on this topic or know the dremel attachment numbers I would need to buy?
 
Takes a lot of work and maintainence. Polished aluminum will oxidize over time.

But i painted them instead as i hated pulling the wheels every so often to clean them.

what would happen if you polished them and then put on a coat of clearcoat? a friend of mine bead blasted and clearcoated the transmission and read diff cover on his celica gts and it looks awesome.


Heat tends to yellow clearcoat. I thougt the same thing back when mine were polished and asked around but the general consensus was that the clear would yellow on me.
