Hahaha chrome adding weight88GT17MA said:chrome will add some weight to the piece, polishing can happen but is not easy because there are many grooves and small crevices in a head unit.

Him running his car out of windshield washer fluid when it was already only half full would more than make up the difference in weight he'd gain. As for polishing it....it's a bitch, but worth it if you're into the 'bling, bling'. My advice would be to start with a 180-sandpaper and work your way to 2000-wet. The start with the levels of polishing compound from there....it'll come out like glass. But remember....the upkeep on it is going to be just as demanding, so keep that in mind before you go hogwild.
