look into CTR wheels. they are GT knockoffs and slightly more than fr500s. here are a couple of crappy pics of mine: 18x9 and 18x10

sumitomo 285/35/18s are pretty inexpensive and still look great on a 18x10 wheel. and you can pick up some really cheap 265/35/18's for the front.

i paid $575 shipped, from tire rack. 245/40/18 and 285/35/18. it would have been about $60 more for 265/35/18's

thats what i did, i could have saved more $60 more by going to 275/40/18 but the really looked pulled in

Well, I just ordered the 18x9 - 275/35/18, and 18x10 - 285/35/18's. I hope they look good. I'm not a fan of really low profile tires, so I hope they don't look too skinny. I got the Anthracite and Nitto 555 tires. All for less than $1500.
