Where's the APC fart can?

My ears long to hear Flows. What Nate said is true .... alot of people have them now. But there is a reason for that .... what do you think it is?

On the '94, I have a catted H and Flowpaths Even with two cats it sounds great and is quite loud, even at idle (burble burble).

I like it tons more than the Flowmaster 2 chambers on the fox vert.

I know there is the whole american flowmaster thing, but i had them on my car and now i have MACs and my MACs are deeper and louder and just plain meaner sounding than my "american thunders" ever were.

I didnt know if you meant best performing or best sound...The sound depends on the other setup naturally.

Well...would it make sense for guys to buy mufflers THEY didnt feel were best? Sure u might not agree, but they are the best to THEM. There is no true best muffler...it depends on the person.

And like caldwell said, some guys still like mufflers more...but dont have them yet. Like me, bassani would be my next buy. I like a unique sound...which is what flows dont give me.

Yea i am looking into gettin some new mufflers and i like the opionated replies that people have had through experience on what they like and what they don't like and the reasons for there choice....It helps the "un-experienced" by letting them know what is out there and in turn lets them go listen to them and price them so they know what they can get. Also sorry i forgot spintech, haven't heard them or even seen them anywhere that i know of until now. In the end, i find this thread beneficial and thats why i created it because:

1. i don't know much bout mufflers or sounds of them
2. one of the more common ?'s asked by owners

Not worth having the poll since the winner, Spintech, isn't even in the poll.

I say just go to the site in my sig and listen....about the closest and best tool ull get short of going to a mustang meet and hearing them in person.

IMO u cant really go WRONG on a 5.0...i mean...ya gotta really try to make the exhaust sound like crap. U could go to a performance shop and close your eyes, pick up two mufflers, put them on, turn the car on and ull smile before even opening your eyes to see what ya got.

I vote for one not on the list. And that would be Flowtech Warlock Mufflers.

bassani here all the way, price is a lil steep but sooooo worth it. iv'e got bbk lt's with shorty o/r h and bassani street competition catback and it sounds sooo good i love it. its not as loud as like 1ch flows but there is no comparison in sound quality. i can't wait to hear my bassani's after i get my 420 windsor in with 2" LT's and 3 1/2" o/r X, should sound ridiculous.
