I was reading a a post omn here that polyurethane bushing might be bad for the car. Specifically for the rear end axle housing bushings. They say it will put more stress on the torque boxes. I was planning on getting the complete poly bushing kit for my car but now im unsure... what do you guys think?

In certain places they aren't. As a result of some good research, Maximum Motorsport recommends a spherical axle end bushing (NOT solid) on the LCA and a poly bushing on the body end. On the uppers, they recomend the HD Ford Racing units, though a poly bushing in the body end and a rubber bushing in the axle end will work. This is to prevent the axle from binding when articulating. For the fronts control arms, poly is fine, but certain brands such as Energy Suspension need to be trimmed so they don't squeak due to inadequate clearance. As for the sway bar bushings (greasable), transmission mount, steering rack bushings, motor mounts and spring isolators, poly is hard to beat. You get a lot more high frequency vibrations, but the car feels much tighter (almost like new). With subframe connectors you'll swear it's a different car.
