Poly urethane motor & tranny mount?

I just finished installing my Prothane motor & tranny mount and there seems to be alot of vibration I feel on the steering wheel almost like a miss. Is this normal now that I have these types of mount . Or should I start looking around to see if something else is wrong and no there is no check engine light, no overheating(blown head gasket). She still runs fine minus the pretty bad vibration i get through the steering wheel.

Sometimes your exsiting vibrations will be enhanced when you go to a stiffer type of mount...just think of how bad it would be if you installed solid mounts..

Could be way off...how's the driveshaft??

That crossed my mind but if the was the case I would feel that on the shifter and its more on the steering wheel.

I just took out my Prothane mounts out for stockers. They threw my whole motor up 1 1/2"s to high. If you ever have clearance problems, start there.

Is there any of checking the drive shaft while on the car or do I have to take it to a machine shop and have them check it.

The vibration is normal. Mine did it too, and after a couple hundred miles the mounts "break in" and smooth out. Will never be smooth as stock though, so get used to it, they are stout mounts for sure.
