ok I got a chance to sell of my Pony's and get some Cobra's



one Question though.... any chance of me loosing some ET?



going to 16-17? or do the 4 lug Cobra R's weigh more? its not the real Cobra R its the SpeedWare as well

The weight isn't a problem. THe tire and wheel combo now is probably a little lighter. Your ET could be hurt some considering you probably now how lower profile sidewalls, which are great for handling, but the last thing you want for drag racing. They are hard, and don't flex. I bet it looks good though!

i lifted my front wheels with my cobra r's and kumho 712's with 19psi .....when i went to draglights and bfg's i didnt hook as well.....the 17" combo is shorter its like 25.xx instead of 26 or 28

so your saying due to the low profile of the tires that the Cobra R's would be shorter?

You must have hydrolics on that car then, and hit the switched right before launch..

stang8urmprt summed it up pretty well. From 16's to 17's, it won't be too much of a difference though. Put drag radials on the new 17" rims and you'll be further ahead (in terms of straight line traction) than rolling on 16's with a regular radial.
