one came up next to me on the right lane at a light to turn right. he revved at him and didnt sound stock. he had to at least have a catback. it was white with chrome rims and the tires looked a couple sizes bigger. it probably was a 95-96 There was a good enough opening for us to go a little.
i leave it in 2nd at 40 and wait. he is half car behind me and goes i hear him, so i nail it. gaining on him instantly and shifted 3rd at his door and blew past him, had to slow down. then we went again this time tried to start the same time but he did jump again but same outcome but even better - when i chirped third and my bumper was at his nose. flew past him. it was two kids like 17-19 i'd say. they roll down the window, "this is bone stock." i know it had exhaust tho, there's no way he didnt because they arent that loud. but anyway, "he's like you got work done huh?" all i said "yea a litte bit." and smiled. and i told him the gears arent even in yet.
i miss my 96 with the gears, i really need them in soon. the car is runnin nice since it's been gettin cold. i thought the race woulda been closer cuz don't lt1/ls1 ppl claim mid 13's. i pulled on him hard and fast. maybeee it's cuz i'm a nasty driver with this car on the street
1st legitimate win/race for the cobra since i try to behave and don't look for trouble. i did murder a yellow wrx in short race though but other than that only a honda accord tried me ha.
