Poppin' Sound up front...

I just ran my car for the first time yesterday with it's new 17"x9" wheels... now I've got a really bad "Pop!" sound when I cut it left. I did just put new stock springs and a left tie rod on her... is it the other tie rod now or a ball joint problem maybe?

When does it pop? Is it like a binding pop?

Typically that noise indicates a bad ball joint. But it could also be as simple as a bad strut bushing or loose mount.

brand new struts... I was thinking ball joint too. Just wanted to make sure. Kinda sounds like something popping in and out of socket.

Are you sure the tire or wheel wasnt rubbing on something? If so you can put some rack limiters in.
